The course content will provide you with skills relating to the nursing and health care sciences, education and didactics, and well as management and organisation in nursing and health care.
Broaden your knowledge post nursing training! Students who choose this advanced programme will study nursing and health care sciences and learn how to apply the knowledge they acquire to the interprofessional provision of care to those who need it. In addition to a Bachelor degree students also gain valuable additional qualifications which enable them to take up positions of responsibility on graduation.

The course content will provide you with skills relating to the nursing and health care sciences, education and didactics, and well as management and organisation in nursing and health care.
A Bachelor degree opens up new career prospects in positions of responsibility in practical nursing, nursing management, vocational training, and advanced training and studies. You may also specialise further by going on to take a Master degree – in Germany or abroad.
There are no admission restrictions for this degree programme.
You enrol and secure your place on the degree programme for the upcoming semester.
Applicants for this degree programme must have a university entrance qualification and also have completed their vocational training as a general nurse, paediatric nurse, geriatric nurse, midwife or special needs carer, for example.

You register in the “HEonline” application portal of Esslingen University of Applied Sciences with your personal data and enrol for the degree programme you would like to take.
Upload your documents
You upload your documents and certificates in the HEonline portal. We need your documents by the enrolment deadline at the latest.
Receive your confirmation of admission and accept the university place you are offered
When you have submitted all the necessary information, you will receive an email with the pro forma letter of admission with the offer of a place at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences. You can now accept the offer of a place in your HEonline account.
Apply to enrol
When you have uploaded all your documents and certificates by the deadline specified and paid the mandatory fees and subscriptions, you must confirm your details and submit them to us. This automatically submits your enrolment application. You are then enrolled for the upcoming semester at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences. You will receive an email welcoming you to Esslingen and providing you with some initial information.

No, there are no tuition fees for this programme. You only have to pay the mandatory semester fees and subscriptions – as you would at any other university.
You graduate with an internationally recognised Bachelor of Arts degree which you can follow up with a Master degree. On graduation you are a qualified practical instructor and nurse manager. On successful completion of the 4th semester of study you are an important step closer to qualifying to carry out a number of medical procedures.
Credits may be granted for officially approved nursing-related advanced training and further relevant professional work.
The fixed study days allow you to study full-time or part-time or also combine studying with family obligations.
